Tanzania Safari Itinerary

1 Day 1: Arrival Day in Arusha

Met upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport and after formal registration then you will be transferred to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay Kahawa House.

2 Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast then drive to Tarangire national park with a picnic lunch to enjoy full game drive.

The park covers some 2600km² of wilderness, characterized by undulating plains dotted with baobab and acacia trees. And is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet!

While enjoying the real adventure in the African thatched forest with birds and animals in it, before approaching your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3 Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, thereafter heading out for game drive at Lake Manyara National Park.

Lake Manyara National Park: located in the northern part of Tanzania, the Park is 126 kilometers west of Arusha Town. The park covers an area of 330 sq. km / 125 sq. mile including a lake surface of 230 sq. km / 89 sq. miles and its well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake that attracts thousands and pink flamingos, one of Tanzania’s biggest elephant population and breathtaking scenery!.

After game exit the Park and drive to Karatu are for dinner and overnight stay at Kitela Lodge.

4 Day 4: Depart to Ndutu Area via Crater Tour

At 0730: After Breakfast, depart to Crater floor for a game drive with picnic lunch.

Ngorongoro Crater is a deep, volcanic crater and the largest unbroken caldera in the world. About 20 kilometers (12 miles) across, 600 meters (1,969 feet) deep and 300 square kilometers (186 square miles) in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. Within the crater rim large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater's ridge, tall Maasai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries.

Your game drive today will be like no other as you visit one of the most dramatic safari destinations in Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater.

After Crater tour leave the Conservation and drive towards Ndutu area.

Ndutu area is found in the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area joins the Serengeti. This area covers 8000 square kilometers meter. It forms part of the annual migratory route of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra, antelope and their predators who come to graze and calve between December, February and March, depending on the rains. The forests around Lake Ndutu and small koppies are also home to prolific resident wildlife.

5 Day 5: Enjoy Full day in Ndutu

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drives in Ndutu whereby you will be searching for a big Five around the area. Collect the picnic lunch in order to maximize a day exploring in the park.Dinner and overnight at Nyikani Camps.

6 Day 6: Depart to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at your lodge, at 0800hrs depart for Serengeti national park with a game drive en route. The Serengeti National Park is a large national park in northern Tanzania that stretches over 14,763 km². It is located entirely in eastern Mara Region and northeast portion of Simiyu Region and contains over 15,000,000 hectares of virgin savanna. The park was established in 1940. Arriver at the camp for lunch, afternoon at leisure, Dinner and overnight at Katikati Tented Camp.

7 Day 7: Enjoy Another day in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the camp Enjoy another full day exploring the Serengeti Park. Set off for an adventure enjoying an unforgettable day of game viewing in the premier national park of Tanzania. During the day, you pause for a picnic lunch in the African wilderness.

Here will hopefully seeing the Big Five of Africa as well as a dazzling assortment of other wildlife. After a remarkable day, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight. Katikati Tented Camp.

8 Day 8: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Full day at Central part of the park and into the place known as Seronera area which makes headlines all over the World due to its endless plains.

Dinner and overnight at Katikati Tented Camp.

9 Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Seronara airstrip for your schedule flight to Arusha airport. Upon arrival you will be meet by another guide and transferred to the hotel for lunch then later in the evening to Kilimanjaro airport for your outbound flight.
