Tanzania Safari Itinerary

1 Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport pick up and drive to Arusha Town for Dinner and overnight in the arranged Hotel. BB or HB depends on your arrival time.

2 Day 2: Arusha to Lake Natron

Breakfast at the Hotel overnight then taking a short drive to Arusha City center for important shopping if you will need, after then driving along the Rift Valley to the shorelines of Lake Natron.

“The lake is in northern Tanzania near Kenya border, lying in the East African Rift System, The Lake has contained salt, soda, and enough magnesite deposits. It’s another unique that the lake is warm water and is known as the home of Flaming where all East African Flamingos breading there.

You will spend this night at a Lodge/Camp for Dinner and Overnight (FB).

3 Day 3: Lake Natron

Lake Natron has often been described as being of lunar beauty and the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai. Spend your day for short walks with a visit to a Maasai village, (Boating and fishing can be arranged at the camp on request). Then after activities, we drive back to the Lodge/Camp for Dinner and Overnight (FB).

4 Day 4: Lake Natron to Serengeti National Park

Leave Lake Natron and continue toward the Serengeti through Klien’s gate at northern Serengeti Park with the best chance to see great wildebeest migration, on July to September wildebeest are crossing Mara river.

Serengeti National Park, in northern Tanzania, is known for its massive migration of wildebeest and zebra. Seeking for green pasture, ahead to the southern part of Serengeti park. Your days in the north will be your chance enjoy wildebeest crossing Mara river and how Nile crocodiles keeping meals stock of season.

5 Day 5: Serengeti to Central Serengeti - Full Day game Drive

Early morning Game drive in the corners of North Serengeti sighting for morning hunting from the wild then after breakfast leave with your lunch for a game drive on the Serengeti Park Savannah ahead to Seronera area. Afternoon take your picnic Lunch and with full day game drive.

Dinner and Overnight in the Serengeti at the Tented lodge/ Public Campsite (FB).

6 Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Early morning Game drive in the corners of Serengeti with a chance to see the Sunrise from the Wild when surprised with four canines on when a lion waking up then after breakfast leave with your lunch for a game drive on the Serengeti Park Savannah in Seronera area. Afternoon take your picnic Lunch and with full day game drive.

Serengeti is famous for the Great Wildebeest migration and is a place will give a chance of seeing all big five animals and other game.

Dinner and Overnight in the Serengeti at the Tented lodge/ Public Campsite (FB).

7 Day 7: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands

After breakfast with your packed lunch drive and game en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with the intention to stop at Olduvai Gorge a historical site whereby the early man existed and can also pass by the Maasai boma if you are attentive in the real African life tradition and culture, after your lunch en route proceed to Karatu.

Dinner and Overnight in the Karatu at the Lodge/Tented lodge/ Public Campsite (FB).

8 Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning after breakfast, adventure in Ngorongoro Crater where is the only place we can promise to see a Black Rhino, with packed lunch served on the crater floor at the picnic site near hippo pool. Many visitors want to see rare wildlife species, “the Black rhinoceros’, this is the right place, Rhinos are fearing of sunburn so during dry season is very hard to see them but in the Crater is favorable for them because they can get a nice weather condition and that makes much easy to be seen in.

Ngorongoro Crater is an experience of a lifetime. Usually is not easy to see all Big five animal in a day but Ngorongoro can bring them all to your eyes and all this in the most amazing setting with a backdrop of the 600m/1,968ft-high crater wall. Evening drive back to Arusha.

Dinner and Overnight in the Arusha Hotel/Budget lodge.

9 Day 9: Ngorongoro Highlands to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast leaving Ngorongoro away to lake Eyasi for another Local experience with Hadzabe and Datoga villages, so we take a short drive to Lake Eyasi for local experience.

Today you will have a short brief from Datoga Farms, they will show you how they grow Onions and other crops. In the early evening, you will be driving back to the Lodge/Tented Camp/Public Camp for dinner and overnight. (FB)

10 Day 10: Lake Eyasi

After breakfast hopeful you will be ready to hunt with Hadzabe and Datoga people, so we take a short drive to Lake Eyasi for that we call crazy spell.

This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be familiarized to the extraordinary people who belong to a homegrown tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shorelines of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal chasing, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide variety of bird species can be watched during walks around the lake, which can be arranged. After all these, we drive back to the Lodge/Tented Camp/Public Camp (FB).

11 Day 11: Lake Eyasi to Arusha to Home

Drive to Arusha and have a picnic lunch en route. You have the option to go shopping or have the afternoon at leisure if your home flight departs in the evening. Later transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your homebound flight.
